40 Bullet Journal Winter Doodle Ideas

Fuzzy sweaters, hot drinks, lighting the fireplace, and glitter falling from the sky. These are the things that I absolutely love about winter. So in anticipation for this season I am sharing some bullet journal winter doodles.

When doodling you can do one of two things. Either practice all your doodles on one page in your journal or practice in a separate notebook. No matter what practice in pencil and fill out in your marker or colored pencils later.

Popular colors for winter doodles are blues, purples, and of course green and red. This of course doesn’t mean you need to stick to these only. Try out other colors with your doodles.

Most importantly when it comes to art and doodles and something I used to say to people I taught to paint. Every piece of art is unique, every style is different, so own your style. If by chance someone other than you sees it and questions it, simply say “It’s meant to look that way.” No one will ever question your artistic style again.

Have fun with winter in your bullet journal. Get creative and don’t be afraid to play. It’s your journal, your doodles, so have some fun with it, and please just relax. Chances are high you are the only one who will ever need to see these doodles. Even if you aren’t let your style shine.

Before we get started here is a list of my recommended supplies.

From time to time the Scribbles that Matter Journal is sold out on Amazon. When this happens third party sellers will try to sell the journal for an insane amount of money. DO NOT BUY THAT! Scribbles that Matter should be back in stock soon. My second favorite journal is the Essentials Dot Matrix, though I warn you the pages on this one are thinner and bleeding and shadows show up on opposite sides. However, it's a decent cheap journal if you are in a pinch and just want to get started.

Winter Doodles

Remember, draw them out in pencil first and fill them in. It’s always smart to have a collection of doodles in your bullet journal so you can refer back to it as you fill in your planners, trackers, and spreads throughout the winter.
