21 Bullet Journal Geek Theme Ideas

Something magical happens when geeks start bullet journaling. We start creating some magnificent geeky spreads of our favorite fandoms. When I decided to stop doing the minimalist themes, I knew it wouldn’t be long before I started stepping into the world of geek themed bullet journal ideas.

It’s not easy planning out geeky themes. First, you want to do your fandom justice by portraying it right. Second, you have to try to figure out unique layouts that incorporate your theme. Finally, you have to learn to draw your favorite characters and practice them.

Your bullet journal is unique to you and if you are a super fan of a TV show or Movie franchise it’s highly likely that you will want to incorporate that into your daily life. Of course because it’s your creation the possibilities for your bullet journal are nearly endless.

I went looking for people of my own who share my same passions for geekdom and I found some real winners. These spreads have some amazing artwork and show a great passion for the movies and TV show that inspired them.

I can’t wait to start sharing my own geeky inspired spreads so make sure you are following me on Instagram @bujoaddictblog. I have geeky themes planned all the way through till the end of next year.

Before we get started here is a list of my recommended supplies.

From time to time the Scribbles that Matter Journal is sold out on Amazon. When this happens third party sellers will try to sell the journal for an insane amount of money. DO NOT BUY THAT! Scribbles that Matter should be back in stock soon. My second favorite journal is the Essentials Dot Matrix, though I warn you the pages on this one are thinner and bleeding and shadows show up on opposite sides. However, it's a decent cheap journal if you are in a pinch and just want to get started.

Ways To Incorporate Your Fandom Into Your Bullet Journal

If you are interested in doing a theme with your favorite fandom or fandoms than there are a few recommendations I would like to make. First, plan ahead and start practicing any drawings or fonts you will need to know. After that it’s all about spread planning so grab some printer paper or copy paper and start making plans.

Draw out rough drafts and templates for your planning spreads. Start brainstorming unique ways to do your monthly trackers. Doing rough drafts and creating templates will help you when it comes time to do the actual process of drawing in your bullet journal.
